Dr. Rich has been practicing dermatology since 1989 and is committed to patient care as well as continuing research to bring the newest and most effective treatments to her practice. Our clinic, located in the heart of Northwest Portland, provides a comfortable and inviting backdrop for what we hope is an enjoyable experience. Dr. Rich and her Associates provide diagnosis and treatments for disorders of the skin, hair, and nails for patients of all ages. Dr. Rich offers a specialized service in nail disorders and is one of the foremost nail experts in the world.
Our growing research department has participated in more than 200 studies. The research staff is always recruiting patients to participate in current studies. Please see the currently enrolling studies section on our research page or call our office and ask to speak to a research coordinator.
We recognize the demands of busy schedules and try to accommodate patients to the best of our ability. As a patient you can expect a high degree of skill and dedication to your skin care needs. Our new patients come to us by way of referrals from other doctors or by patient recommendation, we always welcome new patients. Emergency Appointment Policy
If you have an emergency we will make every attempt to work you into our schedule at the end of our clinic day. We just ask that you bring a book, your computer or something to do as we are working you in. We will address your acute problem but ask that you schedule a separate appointment for routine skin exams or other concerns. You may also ask to speak to a medical assistant for a phone consult as they are trained to triage. If you have an after hours emergency you will need to contact Dr Rich at home.
