Actinic Keratosis

Actinic Keratosis is a pre-cancerous condition of the upper layer of skin. It is caused by prolonged, chronic exposure to the sun and are often found on the face, chest, and the backs of the hands.

Molluscum Contagiosum

Molluscum contagiosum is a common non-cancerous skin growth caused by a viral infection in the top layers of the skin. They are similar to warts, but are caused by a different virus. They are easily spread by skin contact.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a benign skin condition that has two components: pimples and pustules and redness and flushing. The pimples are often treated with topical mediations and oral antibiotics, the redness is much more difficult to treat.

Seborrheic Dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition with red, scaly, often itchy rash in various areas of the body. Most commonly, it affects the scalp, the sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, and middle of chest.

Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic keratoses are often confused with warts or moles, though they are quite different. They are non-cancerous growths of the outer layer of skin. They are usually brown, but can vary in color, as well as in size. A main feature of seborrheic keratoses is their waxy, “stuck-on” look.

Tinea Pedis

(Athlete’s Foot)

Athlete’s foot, or tinea pedis, is a common fungal infection. The fungus can grow and multiply on the skin, especially the feet. Fungus grows best in a dark, moist, and warm environment. Many people develop it at least once in their lives. It is more common in teenagers and males, but may occur in anyone.
